    Saray Sarması Baklava

    Indulge in the decadent delight of Saray Sarması Baklava, a luxurious dessert with a rich, creamy filling and a chocolatey twist. This recipe combines the smoothness of milk, butter, and vanilla with the deep flavors of cocoa and chocolate biscuits. Topped with whipped cream, it is a delightful treat perfect for any occasion.     Saray Sarması Baklava Recipe

    Ingredients for Saray Sarması

    1 liter milk
    1 cup flour
    1 cup sugar
    3 heaping tablespoons cocoa
    1 packet vanilla
    50 grams butter (1 heaping tablespoon)

    Other Ingredients:

    1 packet chocolate biscuits
    1 packet whipped cream
    Just under 1 cup cold milk

    Instructions:

    Prepare the Biscuits: Crush the chocolate biscuits into a fine powder. Spread them evenly across a large baking tray.

    Prepare the Mixture: In a pot, combine flour, sugar, and cocoa. Gradually add milk while stirring continuously. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens to a pudding-like consistency.

    Add Butter and Vanilla: Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla until the butter is fully melted and incorporated.

    Spread the Mixture: Pour the hot mixture over the prepared tray with the powdered biscuits, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

    Whipped Cream Layer: Whip the cold milk with the whipped cream packet until stiff peaks form. Spread the whipped cream evenly over the cooled mixture. Let it rest for 2 hours.

    Cut and Roll: After resting, cut the dessert lengthwise into two parts, then cut each part into 8 slices. Roll each slice into a cylinder shape.

    Serve: Decorate the rolls as desired and serve. Enjoy your delicious Saray Sarması Baklava!
