    Cyprus Dessert Recipe

    Ingredients for Cyprus Dessert Recipe

    3 eggs
    Half a glass of sugar
    Half a glass of oil
    1 water glass breadcrumbs
    1 water glass crushed walnut
    1 water glass of coconut
    1 packet of baking powder

    For the Cream

    1 litre milk
    1 water glass starch
    Half a glass of sugar
    1 packet of vanilla
    1 packet of whipped cream

    For Sherbet

    2 cups of water
    1,5 cups sugar
    1 packet of vanilla

    How to Make Cyprus Dessert Recipe?

    * To make Cyprus dessert, first make the sherbet because the sherbet will be poured cold on the cake. Pour water and sugar into a saucepan. After it starts to boil, reduce the heat and boil for another 15 minutes.
    * When the syrup is ready, switch off the heat, add vanilla and let it cool down.
    * For the cake; whisk the eggs and sugar well. Add the other ingredients and mix.
    * Pour into a greased tray (I used a large square borcam).
    * Bake in 160 degree oven for 30 minutes.
    * As soon as it comes out of the oven, pour the cold sherbet over it and leave it to cool.
    * For the cream; cook the other ingredients except whipped cream in a saucepan until it reaches the consistency of custard.
    * Switch off the heat, add the whipped cream powder and whisk for 5 minutes with a mixer.
    * Pour this creamy custard over the cooled sherbet cake.
    * Sprinkle a lot of coconut (I sprinkled walnuts) on it.
    * Keep the Cyprus dessert in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours and serve.
