    Ingredients for Kadayif Dessert Recipe

    500 grams of fresh wire kadayıf
    200 grams of melted butter
    1 bowl of coarsely chopped walnuts

    For the syrup:

    3 cups granulated sugar
    4 cups of water
    Half lemon juice

    How to Make Kadayif Recipe in Tray?

    Firstly, let’s prepare the sherbet and let it warm up. For this, let’s put sugar and water in a small saucepan.
    Let’s add lemon juice 10 minutes after it starts to boil, after boiling for another 5 minutes, let’s remove it from the stove and let it cool.
    Pour the melted and first-heated butter over the kadayıf strands in a deep bowl.
    Let’s ensure that the kadayıf strands are greased by blending well.
    Let’s take half of the kadayif and place it in a small size baking dish (I used a small round borcam) and press it with the palm of your hand to make it compact.
    Sprinkle plenty of walnuts on it and spread the remaining kadayıf over the walnuts. Again, press it well with the palm of your hand.
    Let’s roast our dessert in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes. After removing it from the oven, let’s wait for the first heat to come out for 5 minutes.
    After the first temperature comes out, let’s soak it all over by pouring our sherbet. It is important that the sherbet is cold, if it is hot, it can make the kadayıf dough.
    Then let it rest for a few hours to absorb the syrup.
    You can cut our dessert, which has absorbed the syrup, either square or pizza slice. Since my tray was round, I cut it into pizza slices.

    How to Make Kadayif Dessert? Trick Points

    Kadayif should be scratched in order to absorb the syrup and butter well.
    Melted butter should be added into the kadayif.
    Each time the kadayif is placed on the tray, it should be pressed and compacted.
    The syrup you will pour over your dessert should be cold during pouring. Thus, your kadayifs will not become dough.
