2 cups of coarsely ground hazelnuts

    3 cups of milk

How to Make Sütlü Nuriye Recipe with Milk?

Firstly, let’s prepare the syrup of our dessert. For this, take water and sugar in a suitable pot and boil for 5 minutes.
Then add the milk, mix and remove from the stove.
Grease the bottom of our tray with butter.
Place the baklava phyllo on our tray and spread butter all over it. In this way, let’s stack about 22 phyllo sheets on top of each other by spreading butter between them.
Sprinkle all of the hazelnuts on the phyllo pastry and place the remaining baklava phyllo pastry on top of each other by spreading butter between them in the same way.
After placing all the phyllo sheets on the tray, spread the remaining butter all over the dessert. Cut the excess phyllo from the edges to make our dessert look more smooth.
    Slice our dessert into squares.
Then bake the dessert in an oven preheated to 180 ͒C for about 30 minutes until it turns golden brown.
After the first heat of the dessert taken out of the oven, pour the cooled syrup over the dessert.
After our milky nuriye dessert has completely absorbed its syrup, let’s decorate it as we wish and it is ready to serve.

    Bon appetite.

How to make Sütlü Nuriye? Tips and tricks

The most distinctive feature that distinguishes Nuriye dessert with milk from other desserts with sherbet is that the syrup is milky. Adding milk to the syrup 5 minutes after the sugar and water boil is an important step.
The hazelnuts you will use in the recipe should not be too ground. Your dessert made with slightly crushed hazelnuts will be more delicious.
