Tulumba Dessert How to Make?
1- For the syrup of the dessert, put the water, granulated sugar and lemon in a pot and put it on the stove. Let it boil over high heat and after boiling, turn it to medium heat and boil for 15-20 minutes more. Remove from the stove, put it into a deep bowl and let it cool down.
2-Take the butter, salt, granulated sugar and water into a pot and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 2-3 more minutes after boiling.
3- Sift the flour on it and knead it with a wooden spoon on the stove for about 10 minutes while stirring constantly, turn off the heat.
4- When the first temperature of the dough is gone, that is, when it warms up, add the eggs one by one. When you add the 3rd egg, add the starch and semolina and knead the dough. It should be a hard but sticky, viscous dough.
5- For it to be strong, put 2 piping bags inside each other and insert a star tip. Fill the dough into it.
6- In a saucepan filled with cold sunflower oil, squeeze the dough into the desired size and cut it with scissors.
7- When the squeezing process is over, put the pot on the stove and switch on the heat.
8- When it starts to fry, stir it with a colander. Fry them evenly on all sides, drain the excess oil and put them into the cold syrup and mix well. When the syrup is absorbed, place it on a serving plate, sprinkle pistachio powder on it and serve.
