How to Make Baklava Recipe?
First, let’s prepare the syrup. To do this, take water and sugar in a pot and bring it to a boil.
Once it starts boiling, add the lemon juice and let it boil for another 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.
Melt the butter in an appropriate pan and let it cool. (Remove the foam that forms on top).
Layer 4 sheets of phyllo dough on top of each other, spread clotted cream on top using a knife.
Then sprinkle walnuts over it and roll it up, neither too loose nor too tight.
Cut the rolled phyllo into 4 cm pieces (you can adjust the size to your preference).
Arrange the sliced rolls on an appropriate baking tray.
Repeat the same process for the other phyllo sheets and place them on the tray, then spread the melted butter over them.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes (baking time may vary from oven to oven).
Once they have cooled slightly, pour the cooled syrup over the baklava and let it rest.
Your clotted cream baklava is ready to serve, you can garnish and serve as you wish. Enjoy!
